We invite all fans of children literature (both young and those a bit older) to a book swap. It is a great opportunity to get something new to add to your home book collection, and to set free the books that you already have. During the swap you can also buy some new books from the local publishing houses.

„Nietoperze na papierze" (The Paper Bats)
Workshops for children age 6 - 9

Paper Bats are all about drawing a poem. Art workshops for the young audience hosted by experienced illustrators of children’s books.

„Kreatywne pisanie z Loesje" (Creative Writing with Loesje)

Workshops for children age 9 - 12
Kreatywne pisanie z Loesje to zabawa słowem i rysunkiem: wspólne tworzenie krótkich utworów poetyckich i komiksowych postaci.

Creative writing with Loesje is all about having fun with words and drawings: creating short poetical pieces and comic book characters. The Loesje workshops stimulate creative thinking, inspire the word play and involve group work techniques.
Hosts: Emilia Skiba and Paulina Tyburska (Loesje Group).

Dziecięcy Klub Filmowy: „Akademia Pana Kleksa" (Children’s Movie Club)

Film and workshops for children above the age of  6
We invite you to join the adventures with a 10 years old Adaś Niezgódka who starts his education in the mysterious Academy. The school’s headmaster is a wizard – Mr. Kleks. Adaś meets Mateusz the bird, who used to be a prince; he finds button that belongs to Doctor Paj-Ci-Wo. There’s also mysterious hairdresser on his way, Filip Golarz, who sneaks a robot boy into the Academy. What for, you ask? See for yourself…
After the movie we will discuss if anyone can be a poet, and during the workshops „Academy of Young Artists”, the participant will create art inspired by poetry.

„Zapach słowa" (Smelling the Words)
Workshops for children age  6 - 9

Emotions bring words, words put down in writing can become poetry. During the workshops, children will smell the words, taste sentences and hear some poetry. They will look for the extraordinary in the ordinary, they will share their emotions and recite like they never did before.

„A kuku haiku” (Peek-a-boo Haiku)

Workshops for children age  7 - 12


Workshops on efortless haiku writing. We will write about ourselves, supernatural and mundane matters, draw and bring the objects to life. (Please bring some useless thing with you.)

Dziecięcy Klub Filmowy: „Laputa - podniebny zamek"
(Chilren’s Movie Club – Laputa the Flying Castle)
Movie for the children above the age of 7

Fans of the Japanese animation need no introduction. During the meeting we will watch another production of Ghiblio Studios.  This time Hayao Myazaki brings us the adventure of searching for the legendary Laputa castle, full of plot twists and turns. We invite everyone above the age of 7 to join us in the journey with Sheeta and Pazu.
